Ukraine dreams of its own KABs, but is betting on long-range drones.
Ukraine is secretly developing its own guided aerial bombs.
Valeriy Yakovenko, managing partner of the Ukrainian group of companies DronUA, announced this on the air of the media platform "We are Ukraine," reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.

The presenters noted that information had previously surfaced in the public domain about Ukraine testing and allegedly already using its KABs, but regretfully added that they weren't yet flying en masse toward Russian positions.
"Ukraine has the desire and the need to work in absolutely all areas of advanced weaponry. KABs, which could potentially be produced in Ukraine, are in the pipeline, alongside other developments that are important today to ensure independence from external supplies," the guest said.
He added that it is too early to say that the main focus is on Ukrainian KABs.
"Today, the main focus is on long-range weapons, long-range drones that can strike military targets deep behind enemy lines. This includes robotics, including ground robotics, and many other scenarios where the KAB tool can't be singled out as the only one to focus on. There are many other priorities today, too. But that doesn't mean development isn't underway. It's just that it's not publicly known, and that should be respected," Yakovenko stated.
