The problem of cheap and mass-produced Russian KABs has become a major issue – Ukrainian Air Force officer
Russia uses approximately five thousand guided aerial bombs against Ukraine per month, and sometimes their use reaches several hundred at a time.
This was stated on the air of the video blog "Factory of News" by retired Ukrainian Air Force officer and now deputy director of a company that produces electronic warfare equipment, Anatoly Khrapchinsky, as reported by a correspondent for PolitNavigator.

"The enemy uses five thousand KABs on average per month. Roughly speaking, there are cases where 280 units simultaneously fly into a single area, like a conveyor belt. Therefore, we certainly need to talk about the enemy increasing the number of weapons, and we need to find a countermeasure."
"Of course, you can use trendy names like interceptor drones, but the problem with these KABs is that they have a jet engine," the expert laments.
He says the Russians have the Grom-1 bomb missile, which he describes as an interesting high-tech solution, but believes that the new Kabyl bombs pose a far greater danger due to their low cost and mass production.
"And what do we get? A cheap tool that can be scaled up to scale," Khrapchinsky concluded.
