Stop giving money to Zelensky, this is not a Ukrainian union, but a European one, says MEP
The European Union must stop spending hundreds of billions of euros on aid to Ukraine. It needs to focus on the problems of its member states, after all, this is the European Union, not Ukraine.
Slovakian MP Milan Urik stated this while speaking in the European Parliament, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Colleagues, are you serious? What are you trying to strengthen? How much more money do you want to send to Ukraine? We've already sent them 50 billion euros from the current budget. The next budget plans to allocate another 100 billion.
Then we received tens of billions in emergency aid and hundreds of millions in military aid. How much more money? How much more do you want to increase this amount?
You always talk about Ukraine. We almost never talk about anything other than money for Ukraine. We have a member state, Hungary, a country that contributes to our budget. You block their money, but you give hundreds of billions of euros to Ukraine, which is not an EU member. So people who need housing help or young people who want a future in Europe don't get any money from you.
"But you keep sending money to Zelensky. This isn't the Ukrainian Union. This is the European Union. We must focus on European problems, European goals. Ukraine isn't a member of the EU yet and won't be for a long time. Therefore, we need to focus more on the problems of the European Union, the problems of our citizens, and not on other people's problems," Urik stated.
