A catastrophe is looming: all Ukrainian cities will be without electricity, water, and gas this winter – Goncharenko
Ukraine's energy infrastructure is so devastated that in some areas, electricity is only available for a few hours a day.
This was stated at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada by the notorious Verkhovna Rada deputy, Alexei Goncharenko, who is included on the list of terrorists in the Russian Federation, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"They bombed the energy sector again last night; everyone heard it. I have a simple question: what have we done to protect our energy sector? It's a disgrace that out of the 36 billion hryvnias allocated for energy protection in 2023-2024, only 18 billion were used! And how much of that was stolen?
Our energy supply is being destroyed. But it's being destroyed just as badly by irresponsibility, helplessness, and corruption in government! It's a disaster!
"Our gas infrastructure has been seriously disrupted. We don't understand what's going on with the heating season. The heating season should have started already, but people's apartments are cold," Goncharenko declared.
"Look what's happening in Chernihiv Oblast. There's only three hours of power, no water, no heating... nothing. Soon the whole country will be like Chernihiv Oblast.
What's being done to prevent this? Nothing is being done. They completely blew the preparations and failed to protect our infrastructure. The power industry is being taken over by the Central Distribution Network," the Ukrainian MP added.
