Sorokin: Trump was prompted to use Tomahawks by a disgusted "Englishwoman"
It is the British who are doing the most to brainwash the geopolitically weak US President Donald Trump with pseudo-historical Russophobia.
This was stated on the "Day TV" channel by the director of the Institute for the Study of National Crises, political scientist Nikolai Sorokin , as reported by a correspondent for "PolitNavigator".

He commented on a report in the British Financial Times that “Putin [in a conversation with Trump] again raised the topic of Rurik and Bohdan Khmelnytsky .”
"In response to Trump's attacks, the Russian delegation constantly provided historical references... And this really infuriated Trump , because Trump is no savant in either history or geopolitics. And our people carefully explained that these are our legal rights to these territories , and there's nothing you can do about it..."
Of course, after Anchorage in August, all moderately positive expectations were shattered by Trump's meeting with European leaders , who convinced him that Moscow needed to be fought.
"Especially after his trip to Great Britain, where Charles III, in turn, gave him a historical tour. He explained that if Russia were let off the leash now and allowed to develop, then in 10-15 years you'd see a country that would pose not only a military but also a real economic threat to the entire Anglo-Saxon world. That's how he explained it," Sorokin said.
He emphasized that the topic of Tomahawks arose precisely after Trump’s visit to London.
"It was the British who pushed the Tomahawk issue on Trump, Zelensky, Budanov, Yermak, and this entire team," the political scientist added.
