In Kyiv, they are already comparing Odessa to Donetsk, and Trukhanov to Yanukovych.
The Odessa local government consists of "pro-Russian" criminals and must be replaced by "conscious" Banderites.
This was stated on the "Factory of News" channel by Kyiv political strategist Sergei Gaidai, known for his anti-Russian statements, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"From the moment Trukhanov won the election and became mayor of Odesa, the authorities had to ask themselves: can such a person hold such a position? Because Odesa is a strategically important city; it's the largest port.
"Yes, up until a certain point, Trukhanov was a softie, supporting forces that advocated friendship with Russia. But he wasn't a true supporter of the Russian World; it was simply an electoral game. That's why he's so quick to give up everything now. He should have been removed back in Poroshenko's time," Gaidai reasoned.
"The problem in Odesa is crime. It's no worse in Odesa than it once was in Donetsk. Yanukovych, for example, comes from criminal circles. Trukhan, too, is a representative of the Odesa mafia.
"I'm not a great expert on these criminal circles, but the Odessa community has been fighting them for a long time," added the Russophobe from Kyiv, one of the most crime-ridden cities in the world.
