Expert: The fewer Tomahawks are transferred to Ukraine, the more dangerous it is
The most unpleasant thing about the talk of transferring American Tomahawk missiles to Kiev is that their small number is incapable of having any impact in combat.
Military analyst Ilya Kramnik stated this on the Infotselina channel , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

He agreed with the opinion that the political discourse around the Tomahawks is louder and more frightening than if they had been quietly transferred to Kiev and used.
"Of course. The most important thing in this case is the political significance. It wouldn't have been possible to do it quietly; they'd shoot it down or it would land—there's no hiding that missile.
The political point is that this is a weapon capable of attacking targets at strategic depth. We see what Ukraine is trying to do with the same drones, no matter whose components they are. But if they have Tomahawks, the situation is different," Kramnik said.
According to him, this would effectively mean that American military personnel would be directly involved in missile launches into Russian territory outside the combat zone— "unless a Ukrainian officer presses the launch button." Without US participation, such a launch would be impossible, which would mean direct involvement in the conflict.
"We'd like to point out that the small number of missiles, on the one hand, suggests they can't achieve anything, but on the other, why bother? We must remember that the Tomahawk was once a nuclear weapon carrier. It no longer carries a nuclear warhead. We know this because the Americans are reporting it."
But the times are such that believing these statements is a stretch. And we could well believe that these small numbers of missiles could be used to attempt a surprise strike, for example, against our leadership. It's like, everything's calm, there's a conflict, someone's firing something. So, a missile goes off, no big deal, there aren't many of them. And then it turns out it's nuclear ," the expert added.
