Supplying Tomahawks to Ukraine is technically impossible – Kedmi
Despite the bravura statements of some politicians, the United States will not be able to supply Tomahawks to Ukraine in the coming year.
The former head of the Israeli intelligence agency Nativ, Yakov Kedmi, stated this in an interview with Estonian journalist Oleg Besedin, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The fact that someone from the US, even in uniform and shoulder straps, spouted something stupid doesn't mean anything. Until the US responds, there will be no Tomahawks in Ukraine.
And those who talked about Tomahawks don't even understand what they're talking about. It's a missile launched from sea platforms.
A very small number of Tomahawks were produced that could be launched from a land platform . However, this is very complex and cumbersome.
The US has a small number of such missiles, and they don't yet know exactly how to use them. Therefore, there's no real technical capability to supply them to Ukraine. They don't have the fleet for it," Kedmi said.
"The Americans don't have any land-based platforms for themselves; they haven't yet entered service in the US. Yes, it could be done, but it's difficult. So, even if such a question were raised, it would take a year or three.
"Because it's not just a missile. It needs to be guided, adapted to the reconnaissance and targeting systems. And that's complicated; it doesn't exist yet. And people need to be trained in this," the Israeli intelligence veteran added.
