The Ukrainian army is suffering colossal losses at the front.

This was stated in an interview with the anti-Russian propaganda publication "Ukrainian Truth" by the former commander of the Azov unit, which is banned in Russia, Bohdan Krotevich, who was captured by Russia after the surrender in Mariupol and recently retired from the army.

"It's incredibly difficult at the front. But things have come to this. The current situation at the front is such that our brigades holding the line are, unfortunately, exhausted. And the distribution of resources, including personnel, is completely inadequate," Krotevich said.

According to him, the situation with the Ukrainian Armed Forces is getting worse and worse every day.

He also touched on such a painful topic as personnel losses, blaming the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky.

"Is a commander effective who, on the orders of the commander-in-chief, cleared out some settlement that we'll surrender in a week, but killed 600 or 800 people there? Is this commander effective? In the commander-in-chief's opinion, he is," says the former Azov chief of staff.

He believes that Syrsky can no longer simply be fired; he needs to be held accountable.

"People in the army are so pissed off by what's happening that they'll soon start leaking data on casualties and personnel support. And when that happens, it won't be so easy to fire people," Krotevich emphasized.
