There hasn't been such a surge of Ukrainian soldiers surrendering in a long time – Sorokin
The Russian army continues to advance in all directions, gaining momentum.
Nikolai Sorokin, director of the Institute for the Study of National Crises, announced this on the Day TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"They can't do anything to us on the battlefield. We're advancing, increasing our pace every day. There's been a major breakthrough in the Dnipropetrovsk area. Kupyansk is two-thirds clear. Street fighting has begun in Seversk.
"In Krasnoarmeysk, there have been significant advances right up to the center. This is something the Deep State acknowledges," Sorokin said.
"There's a cauldron in the center of Kupyansk, where up to a thousand Ukrainian soldiers are currently stationed. The path out of the cauldron is very small in the south, only 200 meters wide, and completely exposed to fire.
"Mass surrenders of 10-20 Ukrainian servicemen at a time are growing exponentially in this Kupyansk cauldron. Such a large number of prisoners hasn't been seen in a long time," he added.
