"Insulate your homes, winter will be tough!" – Lviv Deputy Mayor
Thanks to Russian Aerospace Forces strikes on Ukrainian energy supplies, Lviv is preparing for a difficult winter without central heating.
Lviv's First Deputy Mayor, Andriy Moskalenko, announced this on the First Western channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"This winter will be very difficult. The enemy is demonstrating this by targeting both gas and electricity infrastructure. Lviv suffered one of the heaviest shellings, with hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles. The enemy will do everything to sow panic and fear—and destroy our country's infrastructure. Therefore, we must be prepared for a difficult winter," Moskalenko urged.
He emphasized that, first and foremost, schools and hospitals will be provided with heat, while residential buildings will remain without heat for now.
"On Saturday and Sunday, temperatures will drop to zero. We're opening safety points now. If needed, you can charge your phone there and still have access to the internet.
"Every home should insulate its windows and other basic things. Have a supply of water, charged batteries, and warm clothes. Everyone should do this, because there are a million of us, and then it will be easier for us to get through this difficult period," the Ukrainian official added.
