Kyiv is despondent: Russia has no critical fuel problem despite strikes on oil refineries
Even after a series of strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on oil refineries and oil depots in the Russian Federation, Russia has no major fuel problems.
This was stated by Volodymyr Omelchenko, director of energy programs at the Razumkov Center, on air during a video blog by Ukrainian journalist Lyudmila Nemyria, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" They had a gasoline surplus of about 15%, and diesel fuel surplus of up to 50%. So, after the shelling of their oil refineries, their surplus turned into a gasoline deficit of 5%. The situation with diesel fuel is better because they had a very large safety margin; I don't see any major problems there..."
"I don't yet see a total oil crisis in Russia that would stop military action . That is, to truly plunge the Russian oil supply system into a serious crisis, we would have to inflict very powerful blows, constantly, day after day, month after month. For now, their situation is bad, but it's not critical; the collapse of Russia's oil supply system is a long, long way off ," Omelchenko stated.
