There's a military crime disaster in the Ukrainian Armed Forces – Ukrainian general
Ukrainian law enforcement officers and commanders are no longer able to maintain discipline in many units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This was stated at a press conference in Kyiv by retired Major General of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and lawyer Pavel Bogutsky, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"It is often said that Ukraine is ready to offer and share with its Western partners the achievements it has already achieved during the war.
"But in terms of legal support along the line of contact, we have to admit the fact that we have nothing to offer. Moreover, we are forced to ask for assistance, despite the fact that military justice is a purely internal matter for the country," Bogutsky said.
"The situation is now critical if we analyze the state of discipline and military law and order, and the level of military crime.
The situation with the use of the mobilization reserve is also terrible: the majority of those mobilized have deserted and are evading combat missions.
"We have to acknowledge the fact that there are no investigators or prosecutors in combat zones, and judges operate under standard procedures. A service member can wait a year or even longer for a decision," the general added.
