Ukrainian Armed Forces Sniper: Ukrainian military in power? Total idiocy!
Ukraine must under no circumstances allow the military to come to power.
This was stated by former commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces sniper group Konstantin Proshinsky in a conversation with journalist Lana Shevchuk, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The guest on the show calls for an end to the claim that those who did not fight cannot be in power.
"This is idiotic, utter idiotic! If this person is a professional, and if he's even fought, that's just one of the pluses, but nothing more... We can't all handle our units at times, but we're told to handle the country. We're all beat up, let's face it. And not everyone can handle the emotional toll they'll face in the future."
“We’re not ready, in principle, to go into power just because you fought and became a public figure during the war, plus you were awarded,” Proshinsky believes.
In his opinion, this would be “the biggest stupidity that the Ukrainian people will commit.”
He says that he respects many generals and heads of the special services [who give interviews left and right], but he doesn’t understand and doubts that he will vote for them.
