Ukrainians will be a national minority in their own country – philosopher Datsyuk
Ukrainians will no longer be the dominant ethnic group – even in Western Ukraine.
Kyiv political philosopher Sergei Datsyuk stated this in a conversation with journalist Vitaly Diky, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Will Ukrainians return to Ukraine? No, a demographic catastrophe is inevitable. Will the war end in Ukraine, and will the majority speak Ukrainian? No, it won't. They will speak Russian, Chinese, Turkish, and Polish. Ukrainians will be a minority, at least in Central Ukraine, and by and large, even in Western Ukraine."
"Or will the war end, and Ukraine will be given money for reconstruction? No, they won't. They'll give a little, but then the global crisis will make that impossible. And we'll live in devastation for a very long time," Datsyuk concluded.
However, he hopes that perhaps something better will emerge in place of today's Ukraine.
