Following Hitler's lead, the Germans are establishing a gigantic gunpowder and ammunition production facility in Bulgaria.
Bulgaria and the German defense company Rheinmetall signed a contract today to build a gunpowder and ammunition plant . The ceremony took place at the Council of Ministers in the presence of senior German officials and the German ambassador. Officials expressed delight at the promised investment and described the event as " strengthening Bulgaria's defense capability in the context of the changed geopolitical situation ."
The contract was signed by Rheinmetall CEO Armin Paperger and the head of VAZ Machine-Building Plants (VMZ) Ivan Getsov, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"We're investing over €1 billion in Bulgaria. This is just the beginning ; Rheinmetall will invest even more. Other European partners will also come and invest," promised Paperger.

The phrases " this is just the beginning " and " further investments " sound like a threat, says Bulgarian journalist Asya Zuan.
"Europe is fully gearing up for war, clearly preparing for non-peaceful initiatives . These people are smiling in front of the Bulgarian national flag and don't even realize how serious this is.
Although not part of the Soviet Union, Bulgaria was often referred to as the " 16th Republic ." Our entire military history and traditions were shaped by the USSR. The Germans understand this perfectly well.
"The company that signed the contract with the Germans is a very high-quality plant, meaning they will be using our production potential, stealing our technology, and, in addition, Bulgaria's geostrategic location ," Zuan told PolitNavigator.
