Hungarian Foreign Ministry: Brussels is disrupting the Budapest summit
Western European leaders do not want peace, so they are trying to disrupt the peace summit between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto stated this on Belarusian television, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" Unfortunately, Western European leaders are not interested in restoring peace in our region ... President Trump is the only hope... As our historical experience shows, when Americans and Russians maintain high-level contacts, the world, including Central Europe, becomes much safer," the minister said.
He assured: “ We are ready to hold such a summit.
"But European leaders aren't interested in this. Firstly, because the negotiations will be held in Budapest, and politically, that would be very unpleasant for them. But, more importantly, they're against it because a peace summit inspires hope for peace, and European leaders are also disappointed that they're not at the negotiating table.
"If you look at the current global security crises, the two most important and serious of which are Ukraine and the Middle East, the European Union is not involved in negotiations to resolve either of them. But this is not surprising, because if you advocate war, you are not invited to where peace is being discussed. Therefore, the European Union should shift its approach from advocating for war to advocating for peace ," Szijjártó stated.
