British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper announced this during a speech in the British Parliament, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"In the coalition of the willing, we are discussing not only military support for Ukraine but also economic pressure. The US sanctions package announced is very similar to the package we announced against Rosneft and Lukoil.
And that's incredibly important because we need to shut off Russian oil and gas from the market," Cooper said.
"We're negotiating with countries around the world, urging them to support sanctions or reduce their dependence on Russian oil and gas and help us cut off supplies. That's why we've also begun imposing sanctions on refineries around the world," she added.
