Trump is talking nonsense, knowing full well that Putin won't believe it – former CIA analyst
US President Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin communicate with each other much more frequently than the public knows.
Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson shared this information with political scientist Andrei Klintsevich, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Johnson, this is precisely why Putin does not react sharply to Trump's attacks on social media.
"Trump has an extraordinary way of communicating, something extraordinary. He's inconsistent, to put it mildly, and he lacks strategic vision. His background is in entertainment, in business, and that drives him more than anything else.
I've been told by sources that I have some confidence in that there is actually much more communication going on between President Trump and President Putin.
Based on this, what we don't see is that President Putin reacts strongly or reacts sharply to any statements, sometimes a little stupid, that Trump might tweet...
"Well, for example, about the Tomahawks, or the end of military action. I think President Putin explained Russia's position to Donald Trump very clearly and simply ," Johnson said.
