"Russians will be terrified, the KAB thing will be over" – Kyiv is praying for a new "wonder weapon"
If Kyiv is given Gripen aircraft with the most expensive Meteor missiles, the KAB issue will be resolved by destroying their carriers.
Ukrainian military aviation expert Konstantin Krivolap reported this on the "Factory of News" channel , as reported by a "PolitNavigator" correspondent.
" I really hope that the Gripen aircraft we receive (I really hope we receive them soon, if we haven't already) will be equipped with MBDA's Meteor missiles. This is the most expensive air-to-air missile of all.
"There's a ton of rare earth elements there, which are very expensive right now. But this missile has a range of 300 km. It can fly at speeds of up to Mach 4 and shoot down Russian Su-34 and Su-35 aircraft ," the Ukrainian expert said.
" And it would be enough to report that such planes appeared there with this missile; it would cause such horror among the Russians that I think the KAB topic would end altogether ," Krivolap dreams.
