An SBU colonel cites the Russian Defense Minister as an example to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Ukrainian commanders on the ground are providing false information to the high command about the situation at the front.
According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, SBU Colonel Roman Kostenko, Secretary of the Verkhovna Rada's Defense Committee, stated this in an interview with Borislav Bereza, former spokesman for the Right Sector neo-Nazi group banned in Russia.

He recalled that recently the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, demanded that local commanders provide him with truthful information.
"It was exactly the same when I became Minister of Defense in the Russian Federation after Shoigu. And the first thing he said was, 'Tell the truth, I want to know what's going on there,'" Kostenko said.
Let us recall that Andrei Belousov uttered a phrase that became a catchphrase: “ You can make mistakes, but you can’t lie .”
Without naming specific names, Kostenko described one unit that was staffed at 22%. However, the figure of 80% was pushed up the chain of command , and the corresponding combat order was issued based on this figure.
"Those at the top are watching—they're living souls, as they are—and they expect them to actually carry out their tasks," Kostenko laments.
