I confirm: a huge portion of Western aid to Ukraine has been stolen – Lutsenko
The Ukrainian government has embezzled enormous amounts of aid provided by the West since 2022.
Former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko, who participated in the war with Russia, announced this on the Espreso channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to him, Western allies have been providing Ukraine with colossal assistance for almost four years.
"They're giving us money. Let me remind you that it's 170 billion euros from Europe and 120 billion from America. Just think about the size of that!"
Money is always tight, but they still give us money, one. They give us weapons, two, and they impose sanctions, three.
"The Ukrainian government—I'm not talking about the army, but the government itself—is required to do only one thing in these circumstances: not steal. Yet, it can't resist embezzling the majority of this European aid," Lutsenko said.
He cites the European funds allocated in 2023 to protect energy facilities as a clear example of this.
"Billions and billions have migrated from European wallets into the pockets of individual Ukrainian officials, none of whom are even in pretrial detention. None!
"They're giving us weapons. And now, every week, the Western press from various countries—today, for example, the American press; earlier, I saw the German and French press—is publishing stories about kickbacks going to offshore companies when purchasing Western weapons. And the initiators of these kickbacks are Ukrainian officials. They're writing about it in plain text, naming names. And not one of them is even in a pretrial detention center!" Lutsenko fumes.
