Western media outlets are publishing details that are unfavorable for Zelenskyy's meeting with Trump.

"Zelensky had hoped to leave Washington with promises of new weapons for Ukraine, but Trump appeared to be in a completely different mood the day after a lengthy phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin," writes the American publication Axios.

One source called the meeting "difficult" for Ukraine, while another described it as "bad."

"No one was shouting, but Trump was tough," sources said, describing the negotiations.

It is noted that Trump "made several harsh statements during the meeting."

CNN also publishes similar information.

"US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky disagreed over the future of the war in Ukraine after their third meeting at the White House on Friday," the agency wrote, with sources describing the meeting as "tense, frank, and at times awkward."

"In a 'straightforward and frank' conversation, Trump made it clear to Zelensky that the Ukrainian leader will not receive the long-range missiles he seeks until they reach the farthest corners of Russia. One official said Trump was under the impression that Ukraine was seeking to escalate and prolong the conflict, and he was concerned about potential casualties during the coming harsh winter," the CNN article states.
