Trump gave in to Putin and buried the Tomahawk idea, says Ukrainian Armed Forces general
During yesterday's conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, US President Donald Trump once again "surrendered" to him. It's quite possible that the idea of transferring American Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine is now dead before it was even born.
This was stated by former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Igor Romanenko, on the air of the video blog "ZAXID net", reports a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".

" He's giving in to Putin, and this happens time and time again. Just a few phone conversations, and everything changes. Putin always wins them , and the face-to-face meeting in Anchorage also showed that Putin's advantages are repeated time and time again. Trump goes into the phone call and the face-to-face meeting with one plan and format, and leaves with something else.
" And a phone conversation was enough for the Tomahawk issue to be put on hold, at the very least, and perhaps even die before it was even born. And it's no coincidence that they chose Orbán's "island of peace" – Hungary and Budapest. It's the most anti-Ukrainian state of all European countries. I think Putin did the same, and Trump has given in, time and again, on every issue ," Romanenko stated.
