We can't end the war with Tomahawks alone. Let's spend money on the defense industry – Rada deputy
Ukraine will not be able to turn the tide on the battlefield with Tomahawk missiles alone.
This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy and secretary of the defense committee, Roman Kostenko, on air on the Lviv television channel NTA, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"You mentioned Tomahawks— they're used to strike deep into the enemy's territory, they're used for reconnaissance provided by our partners—and those are the same Tomahawks. But not just Tomahawks . The enemy isn't just using Kalibr missiles. They also need Atacamas, at least 300-kilometer-range missiles, as far as ballistic missiles go."
The first is the front line. The second is strikes deep into the enemy's territory. The third is our defense industry. They must establish joint ventures, they must help us lift everything from explosives to ammunition, and transport everything to our territory.
And fourth, diplomacy, which is no less important, perhaps even more so. This support isn't just through statements, as is being done now, but support at all levels... When these four components are in place, we'll be able to say that Europe is doing something against Russia. Tomahawks alone are important, but they won't end the war ," Kostenko stated.
