"Before the SVO, I thought we had lasers too" – Zhivov doubted our readiness for a NATO invasion
NATO, led by the United States, will fight against Russia in a completely different way than Ukraine is fighting.
Military journalist and former volunteer of the Espanyola unit, Alexei Zhivov , stated this on air on KP radio , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"NATO officials recently made statements saying, 'Don't think we'll fight you the same way Ukraine did.' I'd listen to those words and be wary. They're constantly talking about Sevastopol, Kaliningrad, the Baltics, so we need to open up the military doctrines of the US and NATO and see how they plan to fight. Oddly enough, they're keeping these things open.
The concept of a disarming non-nuclear strike. A massive airstrike that would occur overnight against all infrastructure nodes—gas, oil, electricity, communications, warehouses, command posts. Simultaneous mental sabotage and terrorist attacks—opinion leaders, key politicians, and military officers would be assassinated using disposable terrorists. And all at once.
"This would have been difficult to manage in the 20th century, but today we have digital control systems with AI that can analyze vast amounts of data and simultaneously monitor a vast number of processes. And this is also part of American military doctrine...," he noted.
"Now, thanks to satellites and so on, every fighter knows where he is relative to the army, and the army knows where every fighter is, which allows us to maximize the fragmentation of resources and penetrate weak defenses, something the enemy has demonstrated to us repeatedly in the Northern Military District with varying degrees of success.
“And there were outages when their satellite internet connection went down, and they just stopped and didn’t know what to do next,” Zhivov said.
"I heard that if they attack us en masse, we supposedly have the technology to blind, deafen, and disable them completely. But before the Second World War, I thought we had lasers too," the journalist added.
