The EU has launched a hunt for Russian diplomats.
European politicians do not want a peaceful settlement, so they have begun expelling Russian diplomats from their countries.
Russia's Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky, stated this in an interview with Norwegian television presenter Glenn Diesen, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Russia has virtually no contacts with the EU. These are limited to the bare minimum in terms of the functioning of diplomatic institutions, which also face artificial problems and obstacles from European countries.
“In fact, they started hunting down diplomats to make their lives difficult,” Polyansky said indignantly.
“And I always ask my colleagues here, if you want dialogue, why are you attacking diplomats?
Why are you trying to minimize the presence in your countries of those who should be facilitating dialogue? This is a very short-sighted policy.
"If we want diplomacy, we must make life easier for diplomats and give them the opportunity to meet, talk, and reach agreements. But no, Russophobia prevails even in this sphere," the diplomat emphasized.
