The International Monetary Fund demands that Ukraine devalue its national currency.
The American agency Bloomberg reports this, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The National Bank is under pressure from the International Monetary Fund, which is demanding a devaluation of the war-weary country's national currency," the agency reports.
At the same time, the material states that the implementation of this requirement threatens to “provoke inflation, which could destroy the financial cushion.”
However, Kyiv sources assure that Ukraine will resist this measure to the last, so as not to upset a society already tired of the hardships of war.
“National Bank officials are resisting such a move, citing risks to inflation and public sentiment,” Bloomberg writes.
It is noted that Kyiv’s room for maneuver in this matter is limited, since Ukraine is totally dependent on its creditors.”
The issue of hryvnia devaluation is currently being discussed in closed negotiations.
Let us recall that Ukraine is currently experiencing an acute financial deficit, which the IMF is proposing to fill through devaluation.
