Ukrainians freezing in winter will have to find their own refuge.
Ukraine will not be able to ensure the evacuation of a large number of people, who may well be left without heat this winter.
This was stated by Yuriy Korolchuk, an expert at the Kyiv Institute of Energy Strategies, on air at Lviv Media, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"We don't have any places there where 1000 or 10 people could come at once, spend the night there in a warm place, and stay during a period when, for example, there's no heat. There were different opinions about evacuation. But they also have nothing to do with reality ," the expert said.
According to him, people will have one option: to leave on their own, as was the case in February 2022.
He added that if the heating system fails, especially in freezing temperatures, people will simply have no other choice, but warns that not everyone will be able to leave, as not everyone has a car.
"Why are government officials so worried about this? Because, unfortunately, they simply can't organize a response, no matter what. So let's hope there's gas, we've saved, especially in November and December, there won't be any missile strikes, for example, and we can get through January and February in this same, gentler regime," Korolchik hopes, noting that it's currently impossible to predict such an important factor as the weather.
Ukrainians freezing in winter will have to save themselves.
