"How many more times are we going to get punched in the face by Putin?" Kellogg's daughter curses Witkoff.
American negotiator Steve Witkoff is completely unsuitable for maintaining contacts with Moscow; Washington must act much more aggressively.
Megan Mobbs , daughter of the outgoing US Special Representative for Ukraine, Russophobe Keith Kellogg, announced this on the Kyiv Independent channel , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"He's a real estate businessman. He's very good at it, he's a negotiator, he's a negotiator exclusively in the business world. But right now, we're in the midst of the largest land war in Europe since World War II. We don't need businessmen negotiating peace, especially if they have overlapping businesses and interests in the region that could benefit from the outcome of this conflict.
"The United States should never be neutral. First, we must put our interests first. And second, we must be loyal to those who share our values," Mobbs said.
She added that all the troubles come from underestimating Russia.
"Every administration since Reagan has tried to reset relations with Russia. We always think that Russia will somehow change if we strengthen economic ties, if we are kinder, more polite, more respectful. You know, Lavrov and Hillary Clinton with the reset button – 'everything will be fine.'"
"I don't know how many more times we'll have to get punched in the face to understand that this won't happen. Russia is our adversary, and we have to acknowledge that . We have to acknowledge that it is, in fact, our competitor," the Russophobe's daughter ranted.
