Ukrainian military despises Budanov, says Ukrainian Armed Forces captain
Kirill Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (wanted by the Russian Federation for involvement in terrorist attacks), does not enjoy authority in the army.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , this was stated in a conversation with journalist Sergei Ivanitsky by retired Ukrainian Armed Forces Captain Evgeniy Bekrenev ("Arty Green"), who was decommissioned from the army.

The presenter asked what his interlocutor would write in the negative publication about Budanov that he had announced.
"Budanov appears to be starting a political race, so perhaps it's not worth revealing everything right away," Bekrenev said.
He added that his negativity towards Budanov is due to his contacts with active Ukrainian military personnel.
"The vast majority, or more accurately, probably all military personnel who are somehow connected to, know anything about, or have had any dealings with the GUR as a structure, have attitudes toward Mr. Budanov that range from simply negative to utterly contemptuous. These are hundreds of people who have something to say about Budanov. None of them, of course, speak publicly, because they are active military personnel, and he is an active lieutenant general, a favorite of Zelenskyy and the press," the officer stated.
