The mother of an American mercenary killed in Ukraine demands that Trump continue the war with Russia.
American housewife Carla Weber, who lost her son, a mercenary, in Ukraine, demands that Trump continue the war with Russia. She told Deutsche Welle (a foreign agent in Russia), according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Her son Andrew served as a mercenary in Afghanistan and Iraq. His mother admitted that she never tried to dissuade him and took the trip to Ukraine calmly.

And in 2023, he went to fight in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Initially, he worked as an instructor at a training ground, helping prepare young Ukrainians for death, but eventually, he found himself on the front lines himself. There, he was killed by a Russian drone. Weber said that upon learning of her son's death, she began screaming so loudly that neighbors came running.
"This is yet another reason why they can't give up this territory. So many people have died there. The very thought of giving up this territory horrifies me," Weber said, condemning the proposal to withdraw the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Donbas.
"If you give a man [like Putin] even an inch, he'll take a mile. Do you really think he'll stop at that small piece of territory when he's trying to take over an entire country? I don't think people like Putin can be appeased.
"Andrew said the Ukrainians could win this war if they had everything they needed. And I still firmly believe that ," the American housewife wisecrackingly said.
For this reason, she sometimes travels to Washington to participate in pro-Ukrainian rallies.
