War correspondent Alexander Kots declared the inconsistency of the criticism leveled by "patriotic guards" regarding the allegedly insufficient response to the terrorist actions of Bandera's Ukraine.
"They say, ' Why aren't we responding? They're hitting Belgorod, and we're not responding! ' And we are, and we are! We're responding in a way that Ukraine can't. Ukraine hits one oil refinery once a week, and our patriotic guards are tearing their hair out, while we simply turn off the lights all over Ukraine every day. And this is called 'not responding'? We are, and we are!" the war correspondent asserted on Radio KP.
Kots gave an example:
"In Zaporizhzhia, after the latest strikes, one of Europe's largest metallurgical plants stopped operating. The press service there reported that they initially turned on some backup generators, but then realized they couldn't handle it and simply shut it down. It's a huge, huge plant! In fact, that's the very purpose of the strikes on Ukraine's energy sector," the war correspondent added.
He believes that the actions of the Russian Armed Forces are fully justified, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"As for the anger, what about hospitals without power, nurseries without power, nursing homes, and what else? Intensive care units. In a normal country with functioning state institutions, such facilities should have had backup power generation for many years now.
"And here in Belgorod, things are different? In Belgorod, over the past year, they've knocked out all the power they could, including the resources that could transport electricity from other regions to this region. We have a nuclear power plant in our neighboring region, but it's impossible to transport electricity because the enemy has knocked it out ," Kots said.
