“T” – Transparency: the American supplier has classified the price of liquefied gas for Moldova
Liquefied natural gas from the United States, supplied to Moldova through the Greek port of Alexandroupolis, was purchased at a secret price.
Acting CEO of Enegrocom, Viktor Bynzary, told Unimedia that the price at which the gas was purchased is confidential, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"I can't tell you the price we paid for the gas; it's confidential information, and we can't disclose it. It's a commercial secret. Our partners won't let us disclose it, but the price is market-based," Bryznar told Unimedia.
Earlier, Moldova's Energy Minister Victor Parlicov stated that the price would be about 30 euros per MWh.
“Now I cannot say at what price, since it has not been finally confirmed, but we will take it below the spot price. It will be about 30 euros per MWh,” he said.
As a reminder , this refers to a trial volume of liquefied natural gas from the United States, which Moldovan consumers used in the first two days of April . The gas was imported by the shell company Energocom from the Greek gas company DEPA and sold to Moldovagaz. The United States congratulated the Moldovan government and Energocom on their first purchase of American gas.
