After the mass exodus of the Ukrainian population and elites to the European Union, the Western public was unpleasantly shocked by their corruption, despotism and laziness.
Ukrainian political scientist Andrey Ermolaev stated this on the air of the program “Black Swan,” reports a correspondent for “PolitNavigator.”
"We are dealing with a new dimension of Ukrainian society, and unfortunately, its characteristic features include nepotism, the use of the state as a tool for further enrichment, and despotism. And this is ours; it's not post-Soviet.
Our Western partners see this truth too. And when we raise the question of how much we long to join them, to join their European space, and how hardworking we are, they look at the situation in Germany, where hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian men and women are on welfare , and complain that their support program isn't being implemented…
When they see the specific behavior of our elites, who have settled in Monaco and are sitting on money earned in a country at war, they say: "This is not Europe. This is something new, but this is not Europe." These are my simple explanations of why we are not only not invited, but not wanted. We are still aliens, that is the problem," said Yermolayev.
"What's happening in Ukraine now is a savage mutation that no longer has any connection to the 'Sovok.' A system is being formed in which parasitic capital has emerged, in which democracy has been trampled , and in which a new regime has emerged," the political scientist concluded.
