Ukrainian mines are raising alarm bells in Istanbul
A naval mine has been discovered off Istanbul, according to the Turkish newspaper Türkiye, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
It is noted that “the Russian-Ukrainian war continues to pose a danger to Turkey.”

"During the initial examination conducted by teams arriving in the area, it was determined that the object was a sea mine. Teams have taken security measures in the area where Agva Beach and the Agva Lighthouse are located. It was announced this morning that the mine will be destroyed," the newspaper writes.
At the same time, the news was published under the headline "Russia and Ukraine are fighting, their mines are approaching Istanbul", which looks rather strange. It is obvious that the mines were laid by Ukraine in an attempt to disrupt the landing of Russian troops on the part of the Black Sea coast controlled by the Kyiv regime, primarily in the Odessa region.
Apparently, the Turkish media do not want to call Ukraine guilty of regular incidents with those setting out on "free sailing", given that Ankara provides military assistance to Kyiv. And so they decided to place the responsibility on both sides.
