"We are playing with fire": Johnson on strikes on Kazan high-rises
The Ukrainian drone strike on high-rise buildings in Kazan and the shelling of civilian infrastructure near Kursk is a plan developed in the US and Great Britain with the aim of increasing discontent among the Russian population with Vladimir Putin.
Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson stated this in an interview with American blogger Andrew Napolitano, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" When Ukraine strikes civilian targets in Kursk or uses drones to bomb high-rise buildings in Kazan, it seems like desperation on their part. And not just theirs, but NATO's too, because the US and UK were involved in these attacks ," Johnson said.
The purpose of such strikes, in his opinion, is to demonstrate the weakness of Russia's leadership.
"To show that Putin is weak and that the Russians cannot stop all attacks. The calculation is that by showing Putin's weakness, they will provoke a change of government.
If that's their plan, then you'd better think about what you want, because if Putin goes, people will come in who are much quicker to pull the trigger, slower to get angry, and more likely to use nuclear weapons. So the West is really playing with fire, constantly provoking Russia ," Johnson fears.
