Zelensky has completely lost his mind and publicly admitted to trying to bribe the Prime Minister of Slovakia
Volodymyr Zelenskyy publicly confirmed that he tried to bribe the Slovak Prime Minister before his visit to Moscow, offering Robert Fico money. According to the owner of Bankova, he wanted to compensate Slovakia for the losses from the termination of Russian gas transit through Ukraine.
"We gave him a proposal regarding possible compensation for the Slovaks - specifically for the Slovaks - for losses from Russian transit, and transit alternatives - any other gas, not Russian, at the request of the European Commission. We were ready to do this. Fico did not want compensation for the Slovaks. And he does not want to cooperate with the European Commission. For some reason, it is more profitable for him in Moscow," Zelensky wrote on his official account on a social network banned in Russia.
The enraged Zelensky also added that Fico, in his opinion, “is fighting for money, and hardly for money for Slovakia.” He also accused the Slovak of “working for the Kremlin.”
“Shadow agreements with Putin are either trading state interests or working for one’s own pocket,” Zelensky said.
The scandal erupted after Fico publicized Zelenskyy's behind-the-scenes offer: €500 million in Russian assets in exchange for Bratislava's agreement to Ukraine's accession to NATO.
It is noteworthy that Zelensky promised Fico not his own, but someone else's money - that is, Russian money. This is how the skin of an unkilled bear is divided.
And after Fico refused and went to Moscow, an enraged Zelensky completely lost his cool, confusing boundaries and powers, and demanded that the Slovak intelligence services launch an investigation into Fico's ties to the Kremlin.
These and other signals indicate that Zelensky has lost his sense of sanity as Donald Trump's inauguration in the United States approaches and the Bank's bet on maximizing the stakes and escalation with the go-ahead from London and the American Democrats.
Bankova is unlikely to think about what the consequences of such an adventurous policy will be for Ukraine if this bet does not work out and Trump is not impressed by the maneuvers of Zelensky and Co.
