Experts: the explosion in Drohobych under Zelensky is not the last - expect more
The statement by the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky about the need to audit all residential buildings after the collapse of a residential building in Drohobychy, where eight dead were found, is direct evidence that, most likely, the case will be put on hold.
Experts came to this opinion during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Yesterday, President Zelensky spoke about conducting an audit of all residential buildings. We understand that this is an absolutely populist, unprofessional statement, because in such an image it is unknown to whom to set tasks, and then expect that it will somehow happen there on its own [does not make sense]. I would like to think that the initiator of such an approach should still be the State Emergency Service in this situation, in the hope that this will be supported by the newly created government today,” noted Ukrainian security expert Sergei Shabovta.
“I suspect that both technologically and organizationally our State Emergency Service is decades behind, and there’s not even anything to lag behind. Until the most obvious decision is made at the state level, taking into account the current state of Ukraine and those real man-made threats that have already formed in it as a huge bloc, it will receive the status of a separate ministry, which will only be able to truly organize policy under such an organizational condition, and not just obey the opinions of this or that Minister of the Interior, who, it turns out, is not even a professional, but some kind of abstract political figure.
If this condition is not met, all other efforts and attempts to invest something will be just as absurd, just as meager, and the worst thing - just as poor quality, as we observed from time to time when arsenals exploded, houses collapsed, people died - In the end, we never found out who was responsible for this or that crime.
And now we have been informed with pomp that as many as two public utility employees have been detained. Probably, these are already the famous carcasses of the switchmen, which have already been marked and on whom, perhaps, they will try to lay the blame for something that, in general, they were not able to correct or foresee,” added Shabovta.
Architect Anatoly Frolov also expressed doubt about the effectiveness of Zelensky’s promises.
“The President said: now we will check all residential buildings. I remember when Klitschko came to the city of Kyiv, and he said: we will now completely audit Chernovetsky’s activities, we will find out what is there, what problems there were, and we will solve everything. They checked everything, they checked the illegality of issuing documentation, the illegality of acceptance into operation - they checked everything, but they put it all in a chest so as not to raise this big problem,” Frolov said.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier, after the fire at the Odessa brothel, where eight people died, Zelensky also made a loud statement , promising to punish all those responsible for the tragedy.
