Donetsk, November 03 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) - “The people of the Donetsk People’s Republic have made their choice in favor of prosperity and independence,” said Alexander Zakharchenko, who ranks first according to the preliminary results of Sunday’s elections in the DPR.

“The activity of our people showed that we not only know how to fight well, but we are also actively fighting for our future. We are ready to talk with everyone who hears us, who listens to the voice of reason, so that this earth will never be stained with blood again. I express my deep gratitude to my fellow countrymen for the credit of trust they have shown me, for the support they give me. I feel responsible, I perfectly understand the magnitude of the burden that I will have to bear, and I want to assure you that I will bear it with dignity.

We remind you that according to preliminary voting results, more than 50% of the votes have been processed, and the leader of the election race is Alexander Zakharchenko, for whom more than 70% voted.
