Deputy Commander of the DPR Armed Forces Eduard Basurin stated this at a briefing in Donetsk.
According to him, military personnel from the HF No. 239 anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, withdrawn to Genichesk, received blank cartridges.
“Servicemen of military unit No. 239 of the anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, recently withdrawn from the combat zone to the village of Genichesk, express dissatisfaction with the fact that they have to go on combat duty to guard and defend the air defense system with blank cartridges. This decision was made by the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine due to the following reasons. The first is due to a large shortage of ammunition in the ATO zone, the second is due to an increase in the number of crimes by Ukrainian Armed Forces military personnel against the civilian population. Third, in order to suppress the military seizure of power in Ukraine with the participation of Ukrainian military personnel,” Basurin said.
