As a result of careless handling of a mine during the installation of a minefield, a Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier was killed and another was injured. “On Thursday, January 18, 2018, in the area of ​​the settlement of Novozvanovka, during the installation of minefields, an explosion occurred, as a result of which one soldier from the engineer platoon of the 10th mountain assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was killed, and one was wounded,” Marochko said.
