Students from Galicia are entering DPR universities – Zakharchenko
Students from the Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions of Ukraine enter DPR universities.

This was stated by the head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, at a meeting with the teaching staff of the Donbass National Academy of Construction and Architecture.
“Today, more than 50% of our universities have a student load that they did not have before the war. Our higher educational institutions are enrolled both from the republic and from near and far abroad, from the occupied territories, from Lvov and Ivano-Frankivsk,” he said.
According to Zakharchenko, the high demand for Donetsk universities is explained by the fact that they managed to maintain the quality of education and teaching staff. The most important factor, according to the head of the DPR, was the transition to Russian educational standards, and most importantly, we were able to switch to Russian standards.
“The diplomas that Russia issues are valued all over the world,” Zakharchenko added.
During the meeting with the teaching staff of the Donbass National Academy of Construction and Architecture, the issue of restoring the work of enterprises for the production of road surfaces, increasing its performance characteristics and the prompt use of material for restoring road surfaces was also discussed.
“I have already received information on concrete mixtures, but the ideas that were voiced today regarding the provision of water are actually relevant. We will work on them,” noted the head of the republic.
Zakharchenko named roads and water supply as one of the most pressing issues in the DPR.
“Despite the fact that we are under blockade and in a state of war, we will resolve these issues very quickly,” the head of the DPR reassured people.
