This was stated by People’s Deputy from the “People’s Front”, ex-commander of the nationalist regiment “Dnepr-1” Yuriy Bereza on the air of the “112 Ukraine” TV channel.
Bereza clarified that the resolution to exclude Savchenko from the parliamentary Committee on National Security will be voted on next week.
“There is a resolution that will be voted on Monday-Wednesday. It will be brought into the hall by Thursday. We want to protect the committee, the state, and our Armed Forces. We just want to keep our military safe. She will not attend committee meetings. This is the minimum program for us,” he said.
Bereza added that Savchenko will be denied access to military secrets.
“I don’t trust Savchenko’s words. I trust the words of the head of the SBU, our special services that are negotiating the release of prisoners. Savchenko will be denied access to state secrets... I think that we will work here with the SBU quite quickly and effectively,” he concluded.
