The Ukrainian authorities and security forces of the state must finally account for their activities.
Deputy Yuriy Boyko announced this at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada's conciliation council, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The government did not report after working for two years. We are waiting for the government's report, a program for overcoming the economic crisis. I can give just one example - the government abandoned state regulation of prices for essential goods, and this acted as a trigger throughout the country. When I was, for example, in Chuguev, I myself heard what people were saying about the increase in the Easter basket by 110 hryvnia compared to last year,” the politician said.
He also said budget changes were needed that would “stop the construction of a police state with poor people,” and also called for a reduction in tariffs, which “have put the entire country on subsidies and caused a crisis of non-payments.”
“The report from law enforcement agencies is very relevant,” Boyko added. – Last week the whole country saw another scandal between representatives of law enforcement agencies. They should be fighting crime, but instead they fight each other. People are not waiting for scandals, but for their protection on the streets - murders and attacks with firearms have already become commonplace. We demand that law enforcement officials report on how order will be restored.”
