During the “transition period” in Sevastopol, the level of financial violations increased 5 times

Sevastopol, April 07 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Kononov) – The level of financial violations in Sevastopol for the period from June 2014 to March 2015 increased approximately five times compared to the same period in 2013-2014, reaching almost one and a half billion rubles.

This was stated at a staff meeting in the government by the head of the State Financial Control Department, Elena Volkova, who presented a report on the results of the work of her department.

“During this time, our Department carried out 234 control measures, and the amount of violations identified amounted to 1 billion 453 million 278 thousand rubles. For comparison, for the same period 2013-2014. the number of control measures was 83, and the amount of violations was 29 million 977 thousand,” Volkova said.

Thus, the amount of financial violations has increased approximately 5 times. At the same time, according to the official, one and a half billion rubles identified during the audit can be “ungrouped into the following areas.”

“This is damage to the budget of the city of Sevastopol – 141 million 279 thousand. Damage caused to the objects of inspection – 98 million 956 thousand. And the largest amount of violations in the category “damage from ineffective management decisions made by the management of the enterprise” – 1 billion 213 thousand. This speaks to the competence of the management of the controlled facilities,” she emphasized.

Budget revenues, according to the results of audits, according to Elena Volkova, “were 6 million 200 thousand directly in cash.”

“Excessive budget expenditures were prevented by 24 million 300 thousand, i.e. the budget did not bear expenses unreasonably claimed for reimbursement. And 712 million is the amount of violations eliminated based on our instructions. In addition, a criminal case has been opened,” Volkova reported.
