An ATO soldier was cut off in Melitopol
In the city of Melitopol, Zaporozhye region, during the conflict, a local resident stabbed a Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman with a knife. The suspect was detained by the victim’s “brothers” in the ATO.
This was reported by the DPR law enforcement hotline website, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Reportedly, on one of the streets of Melitopol, during a scuffle, a man took out a knife and stabbed a 19-year-old soldier with it, as a result of which the victim had to be hospitalized with a penetrating knife wound.
At the same time, activists of the so-called “Union of Participants of the ATO of Melitopol” participated in the capture of the suspect, who handed the local resident over to law enforcement officers. The police are establishing the details of the incident, and criminal proceedings have been opened. The suspect faces up to seven years in prison.
