Chisinau, June 11 (Navigator, Petr Alekseev) – At the Kuchurgan railway station, a theft was committed from the office of the EUBAM Mission (European Union Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine).

Two young men broke a window in the building and stole two laptops, two monitors and a printer. The total damage is estimated at 60 thousand hryvnia.
Local residents were under suspicion. The police managed to detain two residents of the Odessa region, one of them was 21 years old, the other was 38 years old. The men have already admitted to what they did. They face six years in prison, reports Komsomolskaya Pravda in Moldova.
The EUBAM mission began its work in December 2005. It provides assistance and technical support to the border and customs services of the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine in their work to bring existing procedures closer to European standards.
