For more than two years, the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not had their salaries increased, and the state military order is constantly on the verge of failure.
The former commander of the airborne assault forces, Verkhovna Rada deputy Mikhail Zabrodsky, announced this on the Espresso TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"I wouldn't want to use such a categorical term as 'demoralization ,' but, of course, we can't ignore the facts that don't help boost the army's morale. We all know perfectly well that there has been no pay increase for more than two years, and the material incentive factor is and will remain important for a long time to come."
This, after all, is partial compensation that the state can offer to military personnel, based on the fact that the social package offered by the state is now far from ideal, especially in relation to the armies of the leading countries of the world.
There are also no additional expenses planned, no increase in financial support is planned, and the state military order is under serious threat of failure for the second year in a row ,” Zabrodsky said.
As a reminder, Kyiv previously stated that Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers were being fed rotten meat , while the Ukrainian government insisted that supplies were fine.
