In Kyiv they are campaigning for the purchase of weapons from the United States
Kyiv, April 26 (Navigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) - The Ukrainian military-industrial complex is not able to meet the needs of the armed forces of Ukraine, so it will have to purchase weapons from its allies, primarily the United States.
This opinion was expressed at the round table “How to develop Ukraine’s defense potential in new conditions” by former Chief of the General Staff of Ukraine Anatoly Lopata.

According to him, its own defense-industrial complex can provide 7% for the needs of the armed forces, so Ukraine needs to think about who to buy weapons from and for what money.
“We need to decide who our main ally will be, where we are going. Today we have determined that we are going to the West,” the military man said.
Former Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Yuriy Shcherbak agrees with this opinion.
“We are strategic partners with the US, we have had a special relationship, and we must raise the issue of a military alliance with the US,” he says.
“If there had been a law like Lend-Lease during the Second World War, it would have been very good,” says Yuri Shcherbak.
